What we collect
- Account: your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the email Google confirms (nothing else — no name, no photo).
- Membership: which plan you're on, its status and dates, and a Stripe or PayPal customer reference. We never see or store your card number — payment details are held by Stripe or PayPal.
- Discord: your Discord user ID and username, so we can give and remove your member role.
- Technical: the usual server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) kept for security and to keep the site working, and a cookie that keeps you signed in.
We don't run advertising trackers, and we don't sell or rent your data to anyone.
Why we use it
To run your membership: take payment, deliver access in Discord, show you your account, send you receipts and service emails (sign-in links, renewal reminders, changes to the service), and answer support. We also use aggregate, non-identifying figures to understand how the site is used.
Where it lives and for how long
Our systems are hosted on Render; data may be stored in Australia, the United States or Singapore. We keep membership and payment records for as long as you're a member and for seven years after (tax law), server logs for about 30 days, and we delete Discord IDs when a membership ends and the role is removed.
Your choices
- You can see your plan and billing on your account page, and manage cards and invoices in Stripe's billing portal.
- Email us to access, correct or delete your data; we'll act within 30 days. We can't delete records we're legally required to keep.
- Marketing emails, if we ever send any, will always have an unsubscribe link. Service emails (receipts, renewals, sign-in links) are part of the membership.
Security
Sign-in is by verified email or Google — we hold no passwords. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal under their security standards. Secrets between our systems are held in encrypted configuration, not in code.
Australian Privacy Act
We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, email us first; if we can't resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
